The 16th-ranked USC Trojans men's basketball team will look to extend its winning streak to 3-0 when it takes on the UC Irvine Eaters at the Galen Center on Tuesday night.
The Trojans are off to a hot start this season, scoring at least 80 points in each of their first two games. Boogie Ellis and freshman guard Isaiah Collier have excelled on the offensive end, averaging 35 and 37 points per game, respectively.
USC's defense has also been impressive early in the season. In their first two games, the Trojans have limited their opponents to an average of 36 percent shooting from the field.
On Sunday, the Gophers defeated New Mexico State A&M 91-74. Senior guards Andre Henry and Justin Hohn and junior forward Devin Tillis combined for 51 points in the game.
USC has a stellar record against UCLA, winning eight of its last 10 games. The most recent meeting was in 2021, with the Trojans winning 66-61 at the Galen Center.
The Trojans look to build on their strong start to the season and extend their winning streak against the Gophers to three games.
