Famous journalist predicts the 76ers will make a big move next summer and they may go after Leonard and George

According to the latest news, although the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers have not made substantial progress in the trade of James Harden so far, it does not prevent the two teams from crossing paths in other aspects.

Not too long ago prominent sportswriters mentioned that "Philadelphia is now ready to be the next home for big-name free agents. I'm guessing Philadelphia could swoop in and go after Paul George or Kawhi Leonard."

It's worth noting that Leonard, 32, and George, 33, probably don't have that many years left in their prime, especially given their injury histories. If there isn't that much money on the free agent market, it might be in their best interest to opt in to the $48.8 million player option the two have.

They both reportedly want to stay in Los Angeles.

Next year's free agent market is indeed very desirable, and in addition to the two mentioned above, becoming free agents are LeBron James, Pascal Siakam, James Harden, Cameron Payne, Geroux Holliday, DeMar DeRozan, and Klay Thompson.

Without too many notable free agents going anywhere, the Clippers recognize that it's highly unlikely that Leonard or George will leave next summer.
